Input

First make sure the input is working. You can use any of the available inputs. If you can see a working preview, continue with the next step.

FreeTrack game output

You can use the FreeTrack output with DayZ.

  1. Open HeadTrack.
  2. Set output to FreeTrack.

Set up DayZ

Now that HeadTrack is configured properly, see below how to configure your game.

  1. Open DayZ
  2. Head tracking should now work in DayZ. If not, please let us know.

Tweak HeadTrack settings

To improve head tracking, you can customise the settings in HeadTrack. For example, change the smoothing, sensitivity, or create a custom curve.
