Star Citizen

HeadTrack works with the Star Citizen game. Here you can find how to set this up.

Set up HeadTrack

Input

First make sure the input is working. You can use any of the available inputs. If you can see a working preview, continue with the next step.

FreeTrack game output

You can use the FreeTrack output with Star Citizen.

  1. Open HeadTrack.
  2. Set output to FreeTrack.

Set up Star Citizen

Now that HeadTrack is configured properly, see below how to configure your game.

  1. Open Star Citizen
  2. Go to settings, "COMMS, FOIP, VR & HEAD TRACKING", and change the following settings:

    • Head Tracking - General - Source: TrackIR
    • Head Tracking - General - Toggle - Enabled: Yes

    Change other head tracking settings to your liking.

  3. Head tracking should now work in Star Citizen. If not, please let us know.

Tweak HeadTrack settings

To improve head tracking, you can customise the settings in HeadTrack. For example, change the smoothing, sensitivity, or create a custom curve.
