HeadTrack works with the War Thunder game. Here you can find how to set this up.

Set up HeadTrack

Input

First make sure the input is working. You can use any of the available inputs. If you can see a working preview, continue with the next step.

FreeTrack game output

You can use the FreeTrack output with War Thunder.

  1. Open HeadTrack.
  2. Set output to FreeTrack.
  3. (Linux/macOS only) Follow instructions under "How to install" button.

Set up War Thunder

Now that HeadTrack is configured properly, see below how to configure your game.

  1. Open War Thunder
  2. Some users experience trouble with BattleEye anti-cheat. If you are affected, see this post.
  3. Head tracking should now work in War Thunder. If not, please let us know.

Tweak HeadTrack settings

To improve head tracking, you can customise the settings in HeadTrack. For example, change the smoothing, sensitivity, or create a custom curve.
